NEW-LOOK Fairfield Sunday got their season off to a flier as they beat Bromsgrove Athletico 2-1. Despite being reduced to ten men, the hosts made the most of their chances whilst Athletico struggled to create any real chances.

Elsewhere Black Horse eased past Premier fledglings, Studley Railway, scoring five and putting them top of the table. Studley Railway, however, find themselves at the other end, yet to get off the mark.

IN Division Three, Church Hill Athletic got their season off to a roaring start as they crushed Hayes Harriers Reserves 8-1. Well done to them!

Showdown talks between a delegation from Church Hill’s defence and Dream Team organisers ended peacefully last Saturday.
